Later, while pursuing an Entrepreneurship degree at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, she joined her university’s dance team, the Wildcat Dancers, a competitive Pom, Jazz, and Hip hop group. At 13 she became a member of the LDC Company and Competition team. The studio later turned into Loralee’s Dance Studio and with new ownership she expanded her studies to Irish step, modern, contemporary, point, bollywood, and theater. She is happy to continue her dance journey with KSDC!ĭeanna began studying ballet, tap, and jazz at the age of 9 at Miss Jancie’s Dance Studio in Swansea, Mass. Chelsea currently is a Dance Specialist at Boston Renaissance Public Charter School in Boston, MA and an instructor at Pirouette Dance Academy out of Fall River, MA. In 2015, Chelsea had the opportunity to be the guest teacher for the Emerson College Dance Company and work as the Dance Counselor at a camp for international students from Thailand, China and Australia. After university, she worked with children's theaters and competitive show choirs as an instructor and choreographer, and at local studios in the area teaching various styles.
She served both as Public Relations and as President for the BSU Dance Company during her years there, danced in thirteen performances on the main stage, and choreographed over fifteen pieces for the Dance Company. Chelsea attended Bridgewater State University for dance education, where she had the opportunity to work with the Anna Sokolow Dance Company and study Bharata Natyam under Kausalya Srinivasan. Brittany is excited to be with Kinetic Syngery Dance Company and expand her performance opportunities.Ĭhelsea spent her early years training in dance and performance in various towns and cities throughout southern Massachusetts. However, she has recently graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology. Upon graduating from high school, Brittany was rewarded with Manhattanville College’s dance scholarship, and traveled to New York to begin her degree.
At the age of 16, Brittany traveled to Boston to train for a summer with the Walnut Hill School for the Arts prestigious dance intensive. She also furthered her ballet education through The Dance Academy in Fall River, MA, performing with Spindle City Ballet in their Nutcracker and competing in the Youth American Grand Prix in New York. Brittany also trained with Newport Academy of Ballet for a period of time, allowing for the opportunities to perform with the Island Moving Company’s junior company, the Nutcracker, and the 2011 season of Open for Dancing. She was invited to perform with the Steppin’ Out Dance Studio’s competition team at age six, where she stayed until transferring to the Stage Door Dance Studio competition team a few years later. Brittany began her dance education at the age of two in Portsmouth, RI under Leslie Boskovich Zeile.
